There lots of cool stuff. Image galleries, videos, online booking, Facebook and more. We would really appreciate it if you would share the link with friends and give us a "like" on Facebook. Of course, we would also love to hear your comments and suggestions.
So I get this phone call from Pepper's mom wanting to schedule her senior portraits. During the conversation, she tells me that I better be prepared to have a lot of fun. This caught me off guard because I usually am the one telling them that they should be ready to have some fun.
Needless to say, her mom was right...Pepper brought a friend to her session and together they had me busting at the seams. Then we started the session!
As we were getting to the end of the session, Pepper asked if I could photograph her with her dogs. It is always an interesting time trying to get those animals to smile as well.
I absolutely love how her senior photos turned out and can't wait to take some more of her this summer when the wild flowers are out in Park City.
Have you ever had one of those moments where you had so much fun that your body hurt afterwards from laughing so hard? That is exactly what happened to me after my session with Jessica.
Jessica had an amazing amount of energy and it was definitely contagious. Her smile lit up the studio as we did her senior pictures. We had the music pumping in the studio and her portraits turned out amazing!
Here is a slideshow of Jessica's senior portraits!
Thanks again Jessica for coming to Park City's own Walsh Photographic Design for your senior photos!
During my visits to Shanghai I stay in a hotel about 30 minutes from downtown. This area was all rice paddies 10 years ago. Now is it a massive "free-trade" and shipping center. The view from my hotel gives you some idea of how the average metropolitan Chinese family lives. There are hundreds and hundreds of these apartment buildings in every direction. Many are 15-20 stories high. The facades differ but inside they are very similar. Most are well under 1000 sq. ft. per apartment. Each one the same.
In case you were wondering why so many apartments...China has the same land area as the USA but about 4 times as many people.
From time to time I like to share images I take on my travels. Today's images are of Eastern Siberia, north of the Kamchatka Peninsula. Enjoy this splendid view!
If you look closely you can even see the curvature of the earth! These photos were taken on April 23rd, enroute from Los Angeles to Shanghai, China.
Ok, I admit it. I work too hard and play too little. But last night was different. We took the night off and had a great time. Sherry and I went to see Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Dave Mason at Park City's Egyptian Theater! What an incredible venue to watch live music. And what a great show!
Now I expect everyone wants to see great photos, right? Well, like I said, I took the night off. I did take a couple of cell phone pix...but to a photographer...they are a bit hard to look at. No photos today.
We want to thank Randy Barton of the Egyptian Theater for bringing such a great act to town. If you love live music and theater in Park City support the Egyptian. We would highly recommend membership in the Pharaoh's Club at the Egyptian. You'll meet great people and enjoy premium seating for all the great shows they have to offer each year. Check out www.egyptiantheatrecompany.org for more information.
Sherry and I just returned from a memorial celebrating the lives of 3 wonderful family members. A large part of Sherry's extended family attended as we honored Sherry's Mom Lee Croker, her aunt Mercedes Lamberson and uncle Jack Kelly.
You might not think of a cemetary as a must-see. Arlington truly is not to be missed. There is no more poignant reminder of the sacrifices made for our country.
I am blessed to travel around the world in my work. Although there are many wonderful places, none compare with the United States. We are very fortunate to live here. Our country would not be the same were it not for the enormous sacrifices made by citizens and soldiers past and present. It is fitting we honor them in such a beautiful place.
If you have a favorite charity or charity fund-raiser, please give us a call! We love to support our community causes and will be delighted to contribute photography sessions or portraits to your favorite cause. Call Randy or Dennis at 435-649-4523
We were photographing a wonderful family today that was visiting Park City for a family reunion. During our session we noticed that we had an audience. I was able to get this picture of the latest fan of our work! We enjoy meeting new people and capturing the wonderful memories of their family reunions. Spring is a great time for your family portrait. Give us a call today and schedule your family portrait session.
